Joanna Page was born in Mumbles, Swansea, Wales in 1977. She is a Welsh actress. Joanna has appeared in From Hell, Mine All Mine, Love Actually and Miss Julie and in several productions at the Royal National Theatre and at other theatres. She also stars in the BBC Two comedy Gavin and Stacey, playing the title role of Stacey.

Page graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in 1998. She married British actor James Thornton in December 2003.

Actress also went to the town of Barry, where they filmed Gavin and Stacey and turned on their Christmas lights on the 23rd November 2007.
